Welcome to Southend Watercraft Club

Based on the South coast in Essex, Southend Watercraft Club are please to announce their formation.

After a successful meeting with the PLA, foreshore Marine Police and Southend council all in attendance, we are pleased publicise that we have been granted their full support and backing.

We aspire our club to move forward and aim is to be the largest in the country. The Essex coastline has a lot to offer watercraft users, our first rule must always be safety, with the implementation of regulations and bylaws we endeavour to make it safe for all our club members, yet family and fun come a very close second, we will be organising trips and Charity Fund Raising Events to name but a few, for all age groups.

All our members  are required to have a valid insurance certificate and the vessel will need to be datataged, this can and will be validated on site if the need arrises, giving other members the security in the water.

Memberships are now available and will run until march 09 at a reduced rate, as well as discounts at a range of local businesses dealing with the club. There is an informative forum for all to view giving details on meetings, fun days or if you need help with your craft.

We look forward to seeing you at the Ness Road slipway in the not to distant future.
