Our 1st charity event sponsored by our local dealer Thorpe Bay Marine.

Thames Charity Fun Run to be held on Sunday 18th May.

This event is being held to raise money for Martin and Sue’s Essex FM Kids Charity.

The plan of action is to turn up at 10.00am to launch your craft ready for a start time of 11.00am. The route will be from Ness Road Ramp, Southend on Sea across to Allhallows yacht club pick up a streamer and then back.
Allhallows yacht club will put marker bouys out and flags so you know where they are, they are also very kindly opening the bar for light refreshments if you want to stop and have a rest.

On your return a poker hand, 5 cards, is drawn, per craft, and the highest hand wins the prize money, £100!! This way it is not a race so everyone can join in.

The cost to enter is £10 plus the normal launch fee of £13. There will be a bbq and refreshments on your return. ALL monies raised goes to the charity.

Southend foreshore is donating 20% of the launch fee to the charity, many thanks

Essex Fm Martin Day will be present to start the run and the Essex Fm thunders will be there.
